Working in chat & artifacts

The chat greets you with What can I help you with today? and a few starter ideas—“Draft a professional email,” “Summarize a text for me,” “Create a table,” “Help me brainstorm.” These are just prompts. Give assist instructions in your own words for the result you need.

A good instruction includes three things:

  1. Goal – what should be created?
  2. Context – what should assist pay attention to?
  3. Form – what should the result look like?

Example: “Draft a friendly decline to a prospect. They asked for a meeting next week. Three short paragraphs, no jargon.”

assist can do more than write. From within the conversation, it creates tasks, deadlines, or notes directly in your data foundation. Say “Create a task for this for Friday,” and the thought in the chat becomes a permanent part of your workflow.

What assist creates for you—a draft, a checklist, documentation—becomes an artifact and doesn’t disappear into the chat history. Each artifact has a title, type, and source, can be organized with tags, and you can filter by type and source in the list. This way you can find that good result from three weeks ago.
